Oh no you didn't....

An HBO documentary crew is shooting on location this week at my workplace. Their cameras are a pain in the ass. Nice guys but they do tend to get in the way.

It didn't take long for them to figure out that their "don't you know who I am" attitude doesn't fly in this neck of the woods.

The concept of travel...

has always fascinated me. One minute you can be in your laundry room folding clothes and two hours later you are in a foreign country.

I've always wanted to fly on a lear jet, take a road trip on a rock star's bus, go on a cruise and take ride on a gondola in Italy.

So far, the most fun I've ever had "traveling" has been a white water raft and a snowmobile.

And in Montana, it is possible to do both on the same day.

But that doesn't compare to golfing and skiing on the same day.

Now that is heaven...

Foggata bout it...

My daughter had a great idea for those of us trapped under this layer of valley fog.

Everyone should take out their hair dryers and aim them towards the sky....

Ask and ye shall receive...

For those of you in the Seattle area, you can catch this Saturday's Griz game at Sluggers bar.

For the rest of the country, the alumni website has a list of places throughout the United States where you can watch a broadcast of the Cat/Griz game with other fans.

Let's set the record straight....

on Montana towns.

It's ANNA CONDA....not AnDAHconda.

It's BUTTE...not Butt.

Deer Lodge and Deer Cabin are not synonomous. Same goes for Deer Place.

Lewiston is in Idaho. LewisTOWN is in Montana.

It's BOZEman...not Boozeman. (Although some may disagree).

And last but not least....It's CAT/GRIZ not GRIZ/CAT.

And for fun....any Montana bloggers want to place a friendly wager on one of the oldest rivalries in the country that just so happens to be taking place on Saturday?

I say Griz 21. Cats scratched.

Let's play some football!!!!!!

If you are just checking in...

to see how I spend my day, it starts with a list.

A list of things I HAVE to get done. I list of things I WANT to get done and a list of things I'd LIKE to get done.

My work schedule temporarily only gives me one day off during the week (Monday) to get personal shit like errands, house cleaning, Christmas shopping, medical appointments, etc., done. Weekends are for family and they dictate what the agenda is on those days.

So while I used to dread Mondays in the corporate world, I now love them.

Hollywood/Montana news:

Rumor on the street is that a large film production company is going to build a facility in our valley. It's all very hush hush as to who it is. Another rumor is that location scouting is on the rise for film shoots next summer. Sounds like an excuse to come here and go skiing to me. Ha Ha...

Celebrity sighting: Ann Curry from the Today Show was in the valley recently. She's working on a story for Dateline that will air sometime this month.

Back to my lists...

Change is all around...

A new job.

Hopefully the last job I'll ever have.

The funnest and most exciting yet challenging job I've ever had.

And yet, due to confidentiality and annonymity, I can't tell you a thing about it.

You'll just have to use your imagination...
